Positive: Very beautiful, verdant villa. Luxuriously furnished with A LOT of space - I had a huge comfortable bed with a good mosquito net, plenty of storage space and a whole lovely balcony all to myself for a very good price. It's nice to be surrounded by trees and nature! Staff are friendly.
Negative: Far away from main Malindi (which perhaps isn't such a bad thing- it makes it peaceful). The arrival and check in was a bit confusing - the number on their profile was not the correct one, so after some digging I was forwarded to the manager. The location was not clearly communicated. The manager did not seem entirely clear on what the check in process should be - how much I owed them, how I should pay, when check out was, etc. so I needed to suggest how to do things. Different staff had different conflicting information on whether or not I could use the kitchen. Not too big a deal, just didn't appear hugely organised.
